A Quickie (No, not that kind!)

With all the rain we've been getting, we take no sunshine for granted.  If it's a nice day, we make the best of it, whether making a trip to the zoo, having a picnic, checking out a new playground or just exploring our own backyard.  The boys are loving their bikes this year, and getting better at balance and speed.  I got this shot after a small bike race up our neighbors super-long driveway, hence the helmets.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE how the boys are skipping along (and Andrew is airborne!)  They were holding hands off and on, too.  So sweet.

We've reached the hitting, smacking, toy-stealing stage and I feel like I'm constantly reminding the boys that they are brothers. Twin brothers.  ...and how that is something super special. I tell them repeatedly that they need to look out for one another and have 'gentle hands' towards each other.  Seeing their cameraderie captured in this photo totally warms my heart.

  1. Love that picture! Adorable! Good luck with the arguments, Ref!

  2. So sweet! I love it! Mine do the hand holding once in a while....I love when they are sweet to each other!

  3. Cute! Maybe we should trade only 1 kid next time they want to play, that way they'll be apart for a little while. With my girls, the fighting always gets bad when they've been together for too long.
    Nice driveway, btw ;)

  4. Love reading your blog :) I have 7 month old identical twins I'm in love with and seeing this picture if your boys make me excited for these days to come! I hope you're still blogging- waiting for your next post! ;)

Show me some love! (That means leave a comment, if you please!)
