Unprovoked Love (and circles.)

I'm not a fan of pop culture currents.  In fact the thought of an LOL or ROFL makes me cringe.  Most pop music, too. Then there is this little "heart" thing I see every single teenager doing (thanks Justin Beiber) and that too, drives me nuts.   That being said, it's abso-freakin-adorable when my kid does it!

In the middle of breakfast this morning, Andrew looked up form his scrambled eggs and said, "Look Mommy, it's a heart!"  I love how he's cross-eyed in the picture; admiring the shape he created with his fingers.

After seeing me pull out the camera to document the now-completely-acceptable cuteness, Wesley didn't hesitate at all to immediately share his own hand creation. "...and I made a circle!"  He was so proud!

  1. Adorable!!!

Our girls love to "try" to make shapes with their hands and show off, too. ;)

I had no idea that was a Justin Bieber thing, though! I'm more out of the pop culture loop than you! ;) That was something we had to do for that online photography class I am taking. And it was stinkin' adorable with itty bitty hands. :) :)

  2. I love it! I just tried to take a photo of my friend doing this and getting her newborn baby in the heart. Bad lighting I think hands were super blurry! Maybe I need to take the class Mandy is taking!!!

  3. So cute!

I tried to make a heart around one of my little guys' feet but neither of us could hold the pose for long.

Most things are cuter when little ones do them.
