Forgive me for not being around lately. Since summer finally showed up in western NY, I've found myself in front of the laptop less and less. Throw a new iPhone into the mix and who even needs a computer?
With that being said, this is a short, but important post. I need to tell you how many amazing people I have in my life and how I'm lucky and blessed to know each and every one of them.
I was blown away by the turnout at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure breast cancer 5K this weekend. I was even more surprised at how many came out to support the team that I created in celebration of my breast-cancer-surviving Mother-In-Law, Dottie. I was shooting for 10 participants and got 30. We even managed to raise a few bucks for the cause.
Thanks to all who walked, ran, donated and cheered us on. I thank you 100 times and more!
